Paris through a camera lens....

These are some of my favorite pictures from Paris (and the whole trip really).

the lovely train station at Dunton Green. We spent many a morning walking to this train station. Crossing the street by the pub, meandering along Slug Trail, turning at the corner of Empty Field Lane, braving our way through a somewhat urine-soaked tunnel. it was picturesque to say the least. the ticket machine didn't work 90% of the time and we could never find a rubbish bin. BUT the train always came and that's what matters.

the benches weren't too uncomfortable either. ;)

playlist addition

I found another song for you girls... too late for now probably, but the need for London music never ends. "London Calling" by The Clash. Also, the first verse of "Cities" by The Talking Heads. So awesome. I miss you, and I can't wait to hear and see all of your adventures soon.

Checking In

So we are back in England now. I've decided that there is no possible way to catch up on what happened in Paris - so many stories to tell! Luckily for you, we kept good record via photos and tapes. Once I'm back in the states with all the time in the world on my hands, I will update and recap. As for today, we spent the day doing laundry and organizing things for packing and planning the next two days - our LAST two days in England. It will be sad to leave but tomorrow and friday will be busy busy busy so we will have no time to worry about it. What an amazing trip it's been.

Paris

It is really difficult to type things on this Parisian keyboard but I wanted to post a small blog for all of those who may be reading this. Paris has been a lot of fun. We have already seen nearly everything and we have eaten some amazing food (photos will be posted when we get back to the states). Ben Sparks has been showing us around and doing all the talking for us. He spent a lot of time today teaching me how to say things in French. We fed birds in front of Notre Dame (they flew right into our hands!) and we saw the Mona Lisa and we hung out at the Eiffel Tower during sun set and watched the twinkle lights go off. It has all been like a dream. The worst part was climbing the steps to the top of the Arch de Triomphe but I won't dwell on that. Well, it is late and I am exhausted. Ciao!!

Cheers.

Just so you all can SEE how much fun we are having. We are off to Paris. YAY!
